Fire dampers can be divided according to their uses and operating temperatures
Fire dampers (FHF): operating temperature: 70°C; 150°C specifically for kitchen exhaust fumes; normal state: normally open; automatically closed at high temperatures in case of fire; suitable for: air conditioning supply/return ducts, air ducts passing through fire protection zones.
Smoke exhaust fire damper (PYFH): operating temperature: 280°C; normal state: normally open; smoke exhaust operation, automatic shutdown when over-temperature occurs and linkage stops the fan; suitable for: main pipe of the smoke exhaust system, main pipe of the smoke exhaust fan inlet.
Smoke exhaust valve (PYF)/normally closed air supply valve: no temperature sensing fuse; normally closed, fire electric signal turns on smoke exhaust/air supply; suitable for: smoke exhaust branch pipes, smoke prevention zone air outlets, and pressurized air supply ducts.
